08 — Aftercare
Heal it right
The first two weeks decide how it looks for the next twenty years. Pick the method you left with.
Step 01
Leave the film on
Keep the second-skin film on for 12–24 hours unless told otherwise. Some fluid under the film is normal.
If it fills with fluid, lifts a lot or gets uncomfortable, you can change it early.
Step 02
First removal & wash
With clean hands, peel the film slowly under lukewarm running water. Wash with a gentle fragrance-free soap and rinse well.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Let it air dry for about 10 minutes.
Step 03
After the film (days 3–7)
Wash 1–2× a day and apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free moisturiser 2–3× a day when it feels tight or itchy.
Light peeling is normal. Don’t pick. Keep it out of water and direct sun.
